Our relationship with work was locked into a traditional pattern of who controlled access to the means of doing work and who was willing to work. This was the "capital" and "labor" proposition. The pandemic made the future accelerate and we are re-examining it. Permissionless DAOs will further add weight to the change that is coming. In a sufficiently advanced society no one should need to work in order to survive.
